American Solar Clipper 75

This is a 4" dia, 96.8" tall and has 75mm motor tube. This is a spin off of the Vapor Trail kit we had offered in a low power rocket kit. The VT was a space fighter vehicle and the American Solar Clipper is a space transport vehicle for traveling to those far away planets in other solar systems.

Here are the body tubes, motor tube and couplers before doing any fiberglassing

Here is the tubes glassed with the fin slots cut and all the holes drilled. Also you can see there is fin patterns printed and the wood to cut them from.

Here you can see the business end of the booster.

Here is the booster coupler. This is made to be removeable so if it gets damaged it can be replaced.

Here is the booster with the fins installed but not glassed. I will do 1 layer of 8 oz glass tip to tip.
